Re blogged from wgsn. I’m super happy to see the glasses I’ve designed as a part of Floscandinavia featured on WGSN. This unisex model is called Goldenrod and a great thing about it is that being oversize it fits most faces, I have yet to see anyone they don’t fit great. wgsn: A WGSN eyewear favourite is Swedish brand Cheap Monday. Their spring/summer 2013 ‘Crude’ collection features hand finished frames with a beautiful matt feel. The sharp edges are inspired by the hand-drawn glasses when they are at the design stage and made possible by skipping the tumbling process which would normally polish the frames. The price points are extremely reasonable without any compromise on quality and design. The brand aims to change the way people buy and wear glasses saying that people should have multiple pairs they change, like pairs of jeans.
